Our Work

The work we have carried out to date has been varied. We have done everything from a simple garden tidy up, to removing a bomb shelter. Images of the bomb shelter removal are at the bottom of the page. If the landscaping work you need carried out is not listed on this website, feel free to either call or send me an email with details your requirements.

Fencing

We can erect fences and screens in a variety of styles and shapes to suit all budgets. We always use quality fences and when possible locally source our materials. So, whether its overlap, feather edge, lattice, screen or trellis Lawnswood Landscapes can build the fence for you.

Lawns

Laying a lawn to is a relatively quick and cost effective way to breathe life into a tired or worn out garden. We use high quality Medallion turf from Rowlan. If you’ve got a garden big enough for 18 holes or just a round of crazy, a lawn can make the difference! We’ll even leave you with some care instructions for your new lawn.

Patios

We can lay stone coverings to suit your needs and budget. Indian sandstone is a popular natural stone option, other materials include reclaimed York stone, slate, travertine and granite. A looser covering of slate chippings, cobbles, pea shingle or Cotswold chippings can be a cost effective alternative.

Loose coverings are also very good in their own right on paths and drives and especially usefull in flower beds when a low maintenance garden is required (less weeding more fun).

Decking

First we’ll listen to your ideas, after all it is YOUR garden! A good deck can effortlessly melt in to its surroundings or be the striking centre of attention.

We’re on hand to advice and talk through your different options. Smooth, reeded or castle profile? Raised or ground level? Hardwood or softwood? Did you know the terms hard wood and soft wood do not relate to the relative hardness of the wood, but to the type of tree it came from. Soft wood comes from evergreen coniferous trees and hard woods from broadleaved trees. Some hard woods can be ‘softer’ than soft wood! Balsa wood for instance, which is very soft is still technically a hard wood!

What ever the budget Lawnswood Landscapes will work with you to create your perfect decking area.
